prores video thumbnails [#2007650]

I am using the video module and i notice when i upload prores 1080 video files, thumbnails are not generated. every other video i have uploaded has performed exactly as i wanted it to.

Is this a common problem? is there a way to generate the thumbnails?

i placed a screenshot. Usually after I save the video, the thumbs show up where it says "upload a thumbnail"

There should be errors in the Drupal error log. Can you chck for them?
Also, could you provide me with a small video file that exposes this problem?
What FFmpeg version are you using?

ffmpeg version 0.9.2

it's a shared server...

I checked the log and there was nothing there.

The video converts, just no thumbs.

I have occasionally same problem with high resolution files (approx. >100 Mbit/s). Sometimes are generated 3 thumbnails, sometimes only 1, mostly all. It seems to be any kind of timeout or memory limit.
