I cannot get this module to work for me. I am working with five separate subdomains with simple video module installations, each with specific differences in order to troubleshoot where some problems are. While working with one I noticed the video module was actually showing a valid copy of FFmpeg as 0.6.1 until I was messing with the theme settings and then Poof! it went away.
Here is what is says now, which is the same for all my installations, both 7.x-2.4 and 7.x-2.x-dev:
FFmpeg Not found
Missing the transcoder library. Please install FFmpeg in to your server if you intend to transcode or to auto create thumbnails. I have been wrestling with a lot of problems with this video module for a long time now, and I simply can't get it to work. I'm posting this because it may relate to something that solves another issue on my list.

Jorrit commentedIs this bug fixed now? It was probably caused by a bug in version detection.
