Just wanted to share a success story. It took an extremely long time to finish but it worked.

Does anyone have any optimization tips for drupal for a site this large, it has really started to lag, and it was never this slow with vbulletin.

Otherwise great module!

Sorry I never replied to this, and thanks for sharing the great story. I always meant to post some opimisation tips for you but never got the time.

Hopefully by now you've got things running nicely. For anyone who comes across this post looking for advice: Drupal 7 should be better performance-wise (thanks to the new forum_index table) and you should also use APC, (if possible) Memcached and Varnish, plus a properly tuned MySQL.

There are a lot of guides out there though, so I won't go into any detail, but I hope these tips can serve as a pointer in the right direction. Good luck. :)
