The userpoints transaction description (ie in /myuserpoints) should include a linked title to the node created, to make reviewing point activity easier for users.
Instead of this entry:
"Points cost for action: "Publish" of type Value on a node of type: "video""
I think it would be more useful to have:
Published video Keyboard Cat
Where the title "Keyboard Cat" is linked to the created node.
Thanks for creating this module, its exactly what I needed!

BillyMG commentedSo I updated this in the DEV version, kind of. I agree that this would be helpful, but I was unable to exactly duplicate this. You see, I have to make the userpoints charge before the node is saved (in the presave nodeapi step). In this step, the nid for the node has not been chosen, so I can't formulate a link to the node, but it has to be done here so I can reverse the action if the user doesn't have enough points for some reason. I added a title to the post, though. Try it out and make sure it works. If anyone has any information about how to get the guaranteed nid for a node before it's saved, I may be able to use that. Otherwise, I think this is the best I can do.

socialnicheguru commentedHere is an excerpt from auto node title that might help

BillyMG commentedSeems very interesting, but still kind of questionable as it exactly working. I'd like to see a more permanent solution, and one that doesn't rely on the specifics from Automatic Nodetitles. Thanks for the info.

BillyMG commented[Edit] Bah, double post.

BillyMG commentedSome custom messages have changed, but it doesn't seem a way to determine the NID has changed. If the Userpoints module had some way to test points before charging them, then I may be able to split this between presave and insert, but even then it's a bit odd.
