Hello!
I'm new to User Points module, just installed it to our company site, and have been very pleased with its features.
I do have two problems, though, that I cannot find answers to here:
- how to display the role of the user (instead of, or together with, user points) at forum topics?
- is there any way to make a bug report (integrated mantis with bugbits module) award points?
Anyone? All help is greatly appreciated!
kindest regards,
MerjaS

kbahey commented1. This is not really a userpoints question, but a Drupal question. You can use the theme_username API by adding a phptemplate_username() to your theme's template.php. In it you can display points, roles, real name, ...etc.
2. You can do it via the Userpoints Services module included with userpoints. This has been released 2 years ago, and some sites use it for exactly that. See Userpoints gets services module integration, provides points repository via XML-RPC. Another route is if you get a CSV file from the other system and then have a custom script read it and call userpoints to add the points to the users.

MerjaS commentedThank You, kbahey!
Sorry, did not realize that this is not a module specific issue. Thanks for correcting, and thank You for instructions.
1. This I finally was solved with user-titles. I set the Userpoints as the Point scheme, the path to image directory, and the role priority, then just checked the option to display title on user profile. (For now, the titles are just written words on a white piece of paper, but our graphic designer will provide images later.)
2. This I had to pass to our developers, because I do not know any code. Thank you for information though, thanks to you I knew what to ask them to do. I already posted kbaheys answer to bugbits module discussion, too, and extended my thanks to You, kbahey, there too.

MerjaS commentedHello again!
Last time I got answers and help so fast that I came back for more..
At the site, when a User creates an account at our web community, he/she gets also an account at Mantis. That's OK.
But the problem is that now the new User becomes a viewer only, not able to report any bugs (except anonymously).
Is there a way to make all new Users automatically reporters?
I updated the access levels of current Users manually one by one, but this will not be an option from now on.
Kind regards,
MerjaS
