Thank you for this great module. This module is really at the core of my current website.

I was wondering if it is possible to implement a new feature to be able to send a reminder to the user for their expiring points.
Can this please be considered? Thank you

I am not sure if this should be in userpoints API. Seems to be more suited as a userpoints contributed module though.

Not sure how it would be implemented in details.
