Actually I'm alos going to make a such kind module, which should record:
1. own node create/update information, new comments
2. own message
3. login info
4. other operations etc

Please see the lastest DEV snapshot against 6.x
It records User Info, User Profile, Content Profile and Location fields.

Not sure if our requirements are the same, as I believe you wish to track something like user activity... am I right?
