I'm using installation profiles in my projects and save only profile folder via git. So that it would be great to have an ability to change default updatescripts storage folder.

I have written the patch for such a functionallity but it seems somebody have already added similar one into branch 7.x-4.18 which is not live yet, so that I'm closing this feature request.
