crystaldawn commentedAs I start using D7, yes I will be porting it to 7. But imho, 7 is still very young and not very many modules exist for it compared to 6 yet. Give it about 6 months and I'll probably have started transitioning to D7 and with it will come the modules I maintain. Given the simple nature of this module, there probably isnt anything to port other than the .info file anyways.

mattcasey commentedThanks for the quick response. If I do decide to go with 7, I'll try fixing the info file. Although Drupal 7+Ubercart 3 look sweet, it looks like most of the contrib modules are still just for Drupal 6... I'm looking forward to the Drupal 7 future :)

joelbindi commentedI would also love to see this. Secure Pages has caused big dramas in the past.. there does seem to be more and more modules for D7 everyday I would be interested in using this in the next couple of months..
If changing the info file or patching works also please let me know
thanks

xibun commentedfor those who can't wait.. there is an alternative which has already a D7 version: http://drupal.org/project/securepages
Comment #7
recidive commentedJust to note, I've posted and alternative module for redirecting to SSL secured pages based on context (from Context module):

nelslynn commentedThis module is the only module missing in my Drupal 7/Ubercart 3 functioning website. I've wasted more time with the securepages module and DO NOT want to use it... it's just too unpredictable. I've used this module for all my Drupal6/Ubercart sites, and it awesome, simple to configure and has never let me down.
I've started the Drupal 7 conversion, but I just don't know PHP that well. What I've done it simply modified what warnings the coder module presented.
Any takers in helping with the PHP? I'll be here to test.

mgifford@nelslynn - Can you present a patch? It's usually easier to see what's changed. What did you build it against? Latest Git repository? Last release?
nelslynn commentedThis is based on release: 6.x-1.26
Sorry, have never built a patch... I'll research and try to get something out next week. The changes are minor... fixed the warnings that the module "coder" presented...mostly just string and link issues.

mgiffordWish I could help this week but preparing to go to DrupalCon. Lots of stuff to settle up before I go. Git instructions are here -> http://drupal.org/node/707484
Although that's different than the patch based on that release. Anyways, there are folks who can help if you've got questions. Lots of resources on the web too. Thanks for contributing the .zip!

crystaldawn commentedThere is now a working Drupal 7 version. In regards to the "security issues" that I mentioned previously in another issue related to this one, they STILL exist. I've documented this security problem on the front page of this module in the Drupal 7 Release and Security notes. It has to do with the Overlay module being included in Drupal 7 by default which makes Drupal 7 incapable of inputting data securely in a mixed SSL environment. Until that issue is fixed, UC SSL will disable the Overlay module when the "Ubercart Non-SSL Switch" is Enabled. It does NOT re-enable the Overlay module if you switch it back to disabled. You CAN use the overlay module, but you MUST use it with the ENTIRE SITE in SSL. Otherwise, it simply will not work.
The release can be found here:
