I'm trying to find the right combination of dev versions, etc. and in the process I'm not understanding some things.

Looking at http://ff3.uberzenweb.com/admin/store/orders/recurring:

I see very different operations listed for two recurring fees, one done under WPP and the other the test_gateway. The one for WPP has create profile, update, reactivate, and cancel. The one for the regular Ubercart test gateway has charge, edit, and cancel.

I wanted to understand why the charge and edit options aren't listed for WPP? I'm also not understanding the ones listed for WPP - "create profile" but a profile was already created; "reactivate" but the recurring fee wasn't canceled. And related to that, clicking on reactivate leads to this error:

"warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'uc_recurring_hosted_paypal_wpp_reactivate_form' was given in ........ /includes/form.inc on line 376."

I've also seen an error related to "vodaplex" - I have no idea - but I didn't get the location, steps recorded at the time.

And perhaps this final item should go in a separate issue - I'm thinking it might be good to make the hosted sub-module info file include some dependencies or checks within the module to ensure it's been enabled if it's required / part of the functionality for WPP.

Thanks in advance and for all the hard work.

Oops. I didn't mean to put in the full URL, just wanted to point to the "admin/store/orders/recurring" part.

The recurring fee operations are provided by the payment gateway, so recurring fees from different gateway can and will have different operations depending on what they support.

Ok, thanks. Do you have any ideas on why a "create profile" link would appear after profile creation or the reactive form error? Can you additionally comment on what the Recurring Orders sub-module handles? I found that new orders are created when the recurring cycle runs without the sub-module enabled, so I'm not understanding what it does.

Has anyone gotten this to work with Website Payments Pro? I've tried every possible combination of settings and modules, etc. and despite successful initial charges and successful recurring profile creation, the recurring fee processing fails each time. Is anyone using WPP that can list settings, etc. that you found works for you? I don't know if the errors I listed above relate to this not working or if this is a PayPal issue.

Or if you found it worked live but not with PP Sandbox, that would be good to know as well. At the moment I'm still using Sandbox but rapidly losing confidence in PayPal's Sandbox environment for multiple reasons.

I'm having issues with Recurring and WPP - I think it works, but I wanted to be able to change the next charge date, and I don't think you can with this gateway?

I called and talked to Paypal today, even with WPP they will never let you adjust recurring fees once they've been started. You can't change it from weekly to monthly, can't change price, etc. Their point was that it is disingenuous to your customers to adjust the schedule unless you have them sign a new agreement.

WPP doesn't allow you to change details, all I can say is use a real payment gateway/merchant account if you want those type of features.
