jpstokes commentedI want to click on a link to add an item to the shopping cart. Found a cart links module but still don't understand how to do this.

tr commentedCart links is the answer. There are a bunch of examples on ubercart.org. If you're still having problems understanding, maybe some details about what you're trying to do...

jpstokes commentedI'm simply trying to add products to the cart when someone clicks on a link like the following:
"Buy Now $199!"
Clicking on the link (phrase) above should add the product to the cart and from there the user can either continue shopping or check out.
I've search ubercart and found a few pages that mention doing this with the cart links module but they don't provide the step-by-step instructions and I haven't been able to figure it out.

tr commented"needs review" is only for when you post a patch.
See #741896: Ubercart add to Cart Replacement Button for a little more information about cart links, but I don't know what else to tell you - you add a link to a page, it works. I have no idea what part of that process is mysterious.
