Thanks in advance!
Note: I have installed Rules and Views...
Rules can not be activated since I can not install entity!
Not sure if that is issue

ensignavenger commentedI'm having the same problem. Looking for a solution!
ensignavenger commentedMight be related to http://drupal.org/node/1009616 (regarding a a similar error when installing Entity API, a requirement for Rules).
4good commentedThere must be a workaround as I know people are using ubercart and rules must be working for them to use ubercart...any input?
ensignavenger commentedI was able to install Ubercart by uploading Entity API via SFTP, then enabling it. Then, I had to uplaod Ubercart via SFTP, make certain that I had all the required modules enabled, then I enabled Ubercart. I still get the following error:
* Notice: Undefined index: full in field_info_max_weight() (line 797 of /home/..sitename../public_html/modules/field/field.info.inc).
* Notice: Undefined index: full in field_info_max_weight() (line 797 of /home/..sitename../public_html/modules/field/field.info.inc).
Not sure if the new error is related or not, but Ubercart still installed and appears to work correctly.
So the big problem appears to be with the D&'s module manager and a few modules like Entity API and Ubercart.

4good commentedThanks I will try the manual upload...New to Drupal...(I am very big on Joomla but with Drupal 7 coming out decided to try it out...the UI I think is a lot simpler in Drupal)...For Manual installations, Are there any modifications to mysql when installing a new module or do I just extract and ftp?
Jednorozec commentedAll you have to do is get the module into the proper place on the server and Drupal will take care of any database changes. If you have SSH access, it's a lot easier to use wget and tar than ftp.
Island Usurper commentedIt sounds like a problem with the entity module working with the update manager. Since 1009616 is fixed, I assume that the latest version of that module, or not using update manager is enough to get things working.
