Hello!

Thanks for the module, I was wondering if its possible to send the contents of a custom cck field to a twitter post, specifically in the form of a link.

We post a lot of links on our site to news articles, we are to send to twitter:

1.Title of the article (!title)
2.Link back to the articles listing on our site (!node)
3.Link to the articles original url (!ccklinkfield?)

Does anyone know how this might be done? Would it be possible to modify/hack one of the existing fields/tokens (eg. !tinyurl, !url, !url-alias) to accomplish this?

It seems like it might be a valuble feature to be able to add a custom twitter cck field to the posts.

From what little I understand about module building it seems that you might start by adding a new function to the module, as was suggested here: http://drupal.org/node/468752

I am something of a novice when it comes to php, and drupals inner workings are somewhat of mystery to me, but any advice that might point me in the right direction would be most appreciated!

Yours,

Alex

This issue is getting rather old. All the CCK fieldtypes and other datatypes that provide token replacement is working with this module. I think most of what you are looking for is supported by the module core func.
