Add non-"hidden" field formatter for "Twitter field"

My current study/use case is to create a Drupal based Twitter app. I mention this to emphasize that my request is not about adding Twitter functionality to more common Drupal use cases, but improving the actual Twitter API handling.

That said, I would love to create nodes whith roughly no more fields (inb4 media, different issue) but pretty only the Twitter post field. This would allow to build things like an archive (->views), or simply review a single Tweet outside of Twitter.

As a start just formatting plain text would do (also regarding views and further processing of the tweet content), but exploiting the anyway existing twitter-status theme template would also be great and (I think) feasible with little effort.

Willing to provide a patch unless someone else already has started on this.
