Using global accounts in views

I want to filter tweets based on whether the posting account is global or not. This way my site tweets block shows only global users, but each user can have their own personal account as well. I haven't done an extensive dig through the module's code, but I tried to add a global field to the view. I'd apreciate it if someone would let me know if this idea is way off base or if there is a better way. If this works please include it.
