When I try login in to twitter, I am directed to twitter. I then authorize the request. I am then directed back to my drupal sight, but I am not automatically logged in(I am just directed to home page.)

There are no errors or or any related messages in the logs/

Is this a bug? Has anyone used this module successfully?

Here is a patch that fixes the issue and continues the process asking you for a username and password to relate to your twitter account.

Note that until I gain maintainership and editorial rights over the project, I am pushing patches to Github for both D6 and D7 versions at https://github.com/juampy72/twitter/commits/7.x-3.x.
