I was wondering if it would be possible to tweak this line:

'); so when visiting an https page this url reads https or the js file is removed? Right now it prevents SSL pages from fully validating.

Hmmmm, http://dev.twitter.com/pages/tweet_button_faq#https ....

At the moment the Tweet Button does not work over SSL. We are looking into making this possible but for the time being we only support HTTP. If you need to use SSL we recommend you build your own Tweet Button.

I need this to work over SSL too. I hope they "make it possible" soon.
