Well, I recently transfered to a different web host, and they are blocking my outgoing trackbacks at the firewall. In order to allow it out, I'd have to request to allow the connection to the site in question, something that can't be done for each and every trackback I want to make.

Is there a way to code the sending portion so that the firewall thinks it is an internal trackback (which works) but still sends it out? Or, is there a way to tie the trackback module into a service that will then have the same domain/IP each time?

I know this is probably unlikely, so I have to ask.

This version of TrackBack is not supported anymore. The issue is closed for this reason.
Please upgrade to a supported version and feel free to reopen the issue on the new version if applicable.
