When I bring up one of the dialog boxes, like insert image or html they display {$lang_theme_code_title} and whatnot instead of proper titles. In the case of the html box it no longer even shows the code for the page anymore. I have disabled the module and ran the uninstall and then reinstalled a new version of the module. Also note that I installed TinyMCE 3 instead of 2.1 to begin with and since changing back to 2.1 I can't fix the problem. Here is a video of the problem http://screencast.com/t/SatUNiLLB.

Thanks

Your post dates from a while ago? Do you still have the problem? I just ran into the same one: installed wysiwyg with tinymce3, where the dialog boxes popped up ok, but due to tinymce 3 not supported, i stepped down to version 2.1 and now the dialog boxes are empty. What I can add is that they are only empty in IE7. In Mozilla, they are fine. Any clue?

Problem solved!

How?

I have my page in edit mode. I select one word in the text, then click on the TincyMce 'insert/edit link' icon in order to apply a link on this one selected word. Indeed, again, I got this pop up window completely blanc. Then, I pused one time CTRL+R, while this blanc popup window was active. And... the window filled up correctly, allowing my to add the link URL, the Target, the Title and the Class!

It must have had something to do with my IE7 caching old JavaScript files that are used within this popup page. After having pushed this CTRL+R one time, things started working fine from the first time, all other icons as well.

I consider this issue fixed, can I close it?
