Now that I have TinyMCE installed, I notice that when I use it to edit text, the "window" is not wide enough for the editor to fit in.
I am assuming that there is some way to get the TinyMCE to readjust itself to fit the size column in the default theme. So, how does one go about doing this?

niklp commentedI personally can't see a way either - we're obviously stupid eh? :)

scafmac commentedWell, as far as I've been able to tell, there isn't a way to get it to resize itself. However there are some solutions. We fixed it by creating a style sheet just for use with tinymce. The default option is to use the tinymce sytle sheet, but I don't like it. Another option is to use the theme stylesheet, but that applies the styles for the whole page to the tinymce textfield (and wouldn't fit). So the option we choose is to create a style sheet specific to the theme & tinymce that sets the size of the textfield and any styles we want to offer in the dropdown list.
Of course this means the new style sheet needs to be added with all page.
