I have a similar (the same?) problem. None of the functions which require the launching of a new window (e.g., view HTML, insert image, help, insert table) will work. Each time you click on the insert image icon it generates a Javascript error "win.document.defaultView has no properties".

Also, the following code is inserted at the top of every page when I'm logged-in as administrator:
// $Id: imce_set_tinymce.js,v 1.1.2.2 2006/11/18 01:38:44 ufku Exp $
2if (Drupal.jsEnabled) {
3 $(window).load(imceInitiateTinyMCE);
4}

and it generates an error "drupal is not defined". Don't know Javascript, so I can't tell if the two problems are related.

The problem occurs w/ both TinyMCE libraries ver. 2.0.9 and ver. 2.1; the Drupal TinyMCE module I've installed is ver. 1.90.4.15 $ $Date: 2007/02/07 12:33:48. The TinyMCE module is installed at /sites/all/modules/tinymce/ and the libraries are at /sites/all/modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/, etc.

OK, I updated IMCE to the latest version and that eliminated the "drupal is not defined" error but the original problem w/ the tinymce WYSIWYG editor mentioned above remains, so the two problems don't seem to have been related.

The 5.1 demo site is installed in the drupal/modules directory, but I tried moving it to the sites/all/modules and both still worked. Both work without an issue. The current 5.1 version of TinyMCE uses the GUI button selector and doesn't require manually adding mceAdvImage.
