Timeline does not show up

I use
Acquia Drupal 6.16
CK Editor 3.2.1
Mysql 5.0.67
PHP 5.2.6

I installed Timeline and timeline appears in the views section.
However, clicking on timeline/nodes in the Node View timeline_nodes, there's no timeline in the content region
(I did not select local timeline)

In the install.txt it says:

Does this really mean I have to copy the modules in this directory though I got views installed in sites/all/modules
or in the acquia folder?

Sorry if this is the problem - just wanted to be sure about
this, because it would be totally new for me to install a module there

Any other idea what might be the reason? As I said, I can choose timeline in the views section under style

(Row Style: Fields
Ajax: No)

I put items to display: 10 after reading
