Timeline not using rewritten field values

First off: Thanks much for a very helpful module; much easier than starting from scratch to use the SIMILE libraries.

When a field's output is rewritten in the Views UI, the rewritten value is not passed to the timeline. Here's my use case: I have rewritten the Title field to include the event's start date, a colon, then the title. I'm hoping to get that rewritten value to display on the timeline after the event's dot or below its duration line.

I'm guessing this is a matter of picking up the field's value before views rewrites it. If someone more knowledgeable with Views can point me to the right function, I can tinker around for a patch, but it's just not a component I regularly work with. Thanks!
