repeat background image

Hi -- love this module, real lifesaver for a lot of elements of a number of sites we're working on, so thank you!!

How, if at all, can I apply something like "repeat-x" to the background image I'm using when setting up a preset? (via the textimage UI or a theme function or whatever works -- I'm all ears!)
