Problem/Motivation

Development is still occurring for this module, and this module is still needed, but no recent review (see #3220993: Option to merge terms (Term Merge integration)) or needed releases (see #3232616: Update development status to at-least 'Maintenance fixes only' and #3203127: Release a new alpha/beta that is also Drupal 9 compliant) are being made.

Proposed resolution

Add an active maintainer.

  • steinmb has been curating issues and would be a good candidate to continue to do so and make releases as needed.
  • alesbencina has made significant recent development contributions and may be willing>
  • If no one else, i would take on D7 comparability for D8/9/10 and "maintenance fixes only" level of maintenance.

Contact maintainers and get someone access, if no response to this issue.

Thank you for suggesting me as a maintainer, however I'm afraid I have to decline. My recently change of work means that I have less time to support Drupal modules plus non of our running Drupal 7 && 9 —installations use this module at the moment. Hope someone else finds the time to step up as maintainers.
