Please add support for ImageField, so we can have terms with images, effectively replacing the deprecated taxonomy image and image modules.
thanks

lpalgarvio commentedalso, maybe for ImageField + Image fupload widget too?
if it worked, imagefield + image_fupload + term_fields would allow to batch create Taxonomy Terms with corresponding ImageField field type with the widget Image fupload.
that would be great to create a whole vocabulary in seconds, provided you named the pictures first (which would likely be done anyway for organization sake).
Image fupload works by using SWFupload/AJAX to upload images to ImageFields.

b-prod commentedPlease take a look on Taxonomy image.

lpalgarvio commentedthe problem about Taxonomy Image is that it uses old upload methods.
it doesn't supports CCK.
please check on Drupal7-alpha6.
the core drupal7 allows users to create fields for any entities, including nodes, users and terms.
as a term can have any fields, you can use imagefield and set a taxonomy image.
your module allows users to add Fields to Terms, but not specifically ImageField.
please review this idea as this would make Term Fields an excellent unofficial backport of D7 term fields.
i'm sure other users feel this way about this idea and would love that it got implemented.
cheers.

b-prod commentedActually, the most important currently is to work on a way to migrate D6 term fields to D7 (759138: Upgrade functionality to import term fields into D7 fieldable terms).
And because D7 support natively advanced term fields,
If you provide a patch to handle your suggested fonctionality of file support, I will review it, but personnaly I will not work on new fonctionalities (except D7 import) because now I prefer focus on D7.

b-prod commentedAn image widget has been added to the 2.x branch (currently in DEV version).
Some options should be added, like imagecache support, Views advanced handler (@see #1198212: Images in a View?) and some others...
Glad to have feedback and suggestions.

freeform.steph commentedIf you have views custom field installed (http://drupal.org/project/views_customfield) you can use php to display your image. Add the term field as normal, but set it to not display. Then add a new php field with the following:
If you also add a hidden field for the title than you can populate the alt and title attributes.
Or, if you have imagecache installed, you can use a preset like so:
