Irrespective of the default input format or a term's specified input format for a text area field type, views renders the text area with the default input format.
This appears to be an error in the views/term_fields_handler_field_textarea.inc file where it tries to pick up the format name from the aliases[format] which doesn't exist as this snippet of debug from the term_fields_handler_field_textarea object shows:

    [aliases] => Array
        (
            [body_format] => term_fields_term_body_format
            [tid] => term_fields_term_tid
        )

    [additional_fields] => Array
        (
            [format] => body_format
            [tid] => tid
        )

The offending code is:
$format = ! empty($values->{$this->aliases['format']}) ? $values->{$this->aliases['format']} : FILTER_FORMAT_DEFAULT;
It appears as though this should be referenced via the additional_fields (potentially) as such:
$format = ! empty($values->{$this->aliases[$this -> additional_fields['format']]}) ? $values->{$this->aliases[$this->additional_fields['format']]} : FILTER_FORMAT_DEFAULT;
This does at least solve the issue in my case although I suspect more tests may need to be performed also.
Is this a correct assumption? Is this change satisfactory?
