May be, it's a silly question, I'm not an expert. If you set the thumbnail to align left, as a rule you want some horizontal spacing, otherwise text begins directly after the image, that is very ugly. How can I manage this spacing using Teaser Thumbnail module? Thank you.

Agree, it would make a great feature for this module to customize spacing (at least horizontal).

You can do so using CSS; I am not eager on adding options to do things that are too much related to style. Have a look at http://drupal.org/node/369228#comment-1292996.
