It would be really nice if we could use this on a views taxonomy filter!
I know this is not on the scope of this module but there really is a lack of good views filter modes.

This should be great as a additional module (it can even be included on Taxonomy Tree Select bundle), but I have no idea of how this can be done. Patches are welcome.
