I enabled nodeaccess module and disabled anonymous access to 1 node. The count under that taxonomy term still reads one though. If I select the term it says no results. Can the count be fixed to only count permissible nodes?

Duplicate of what? If your going to close something as duplicate you need to reference the parent case.

Perhaps 1065262. But that is a d6 bug and this is for d7.
