The (+) hierarchy expansion for a term isn't working

I'm using the Drupal 5.18, and the current dev version of Taxonomy Manager, and JQuery Update 5.x-2.0 (if that matters). When I click on the (+) to expand a hierarchy of terms for a given vocabulary, they don't expand.
