We want to have a CSV scheduled to be uploaded on a regular basis to update and create various nodes (which in turn create locations on a Map).

Would this module be appropriate and how could it compare to Feeds or Migrate?

Hi,

It depends on the way you want to proceed and it depends on your CSV format. Generally, you can do anything with Feeds, but Taxonomy CSV provides specialized functions for specific imports and there are formats already included. Migrate doesn't seem good, because it's designed for a one time migration. If the format of your CSV file is simple, you can try Taxonomy Builder API too.

Hi,

Furthermore, a drush support has just been added. You can now use drush taxocsv-import to import taxonomies and hierarchical structures with CSV file, and drush taxocsv-export to export terms and properties to a CSV file.
