I installed your promising module but only get:
- support_ticket content type
- Support permissions

I tried to follow install.txt and realized that admin menus are simply not present (Administer >> Support)

Even by allowing anyone to create a ticket there's no way to create one as admin!

Couldn't find chart module.

The support module is not yet ported to Drupal 7 -- it's still an effort in progress:
#589552: Drupal 7 version of Support Ticketing System

You'll see -beta releases when the module is considered somewhat usable, and -rc releases when the module is considered reasonably stable. You'll see a 1.0 release when the module is considered stable enough for production.
