Hello Maintainers,

iam the maintainer of tagging.
i was looking at suggested terms and saw, that it has the same functionallity like the tagging module. I think the UI is different, for my opinion slightly better in tagging. Tagging is has a API for hooking in your own suggestion systems in example the module extractor.

I think in general, both modules seem to do the same job, so why dont join forces and create a even more powerful and stable module? Thats why i was going to ask you if you would like to help merging suggestedterms into tagging.

The only thing missing in tagging is the clean downgrad if javascript is not available.

So let me know if you are interested or have other ideas.

Is this still relevant? It appears the Tagging module is unsupported now. Feel free to open support/feature requests for any particular functionality of Tagging that you think would make a good addition to Suggested Terms.

Hi, well no consider this as closed. As you mentioned, tagging development has been (basically) closed on d.o.

I guess, this ticket is 3 years old, just close it :)
