how to redirect the site url from www to non www,
for example redirect the site url from www.test.abc.com to test.abc.com.

hi
i have created a multisite www.test.com and also created subdomain sub.test.com but when I try to use the settings or menu bar I am getting www.sub.test.com.
Can some one suggest how to get rid of www for the subdomains please.

I think you are looking for the checkbox "Prepend 'www' to non-subdomain URLs" at admin/config/system/subdomain. If it is not there, update to dev version.
