After i install and enable the statuses module, when i go to view "my account" i get a website has experienced an error. it is attributed to this module. any thoughts? thanks in advance

What is the error? Do you have any error messages in your Drupal or PHP error logs? What Statuses submodules do you have installed? What version of PHP do you have? Do you have FBSMP installed? Have you tried clearing caches and/or reinstalling the module from a fresh download?
