Question about Views and CSS application to the schedule

I'm having trouble showing the gridded schedule in views. I'm a complete drupal newbie, so please excuse the basicness of my question.

When I look at my schedule grid in it's own node, it looks nice. I get this very pleasant display.

I take that node and try to display it through a view, by filtering the view to display my schedule node number, and adding the field for the body, but nothing displays. I tried changing the Row Style from fields to node, and it displayed a messy unusable version of the grid.

So, I took things back to basics. I went back to the node itself and gave it a nice URL path, but when I try to view it from a logged out browser, it says acess denied. I suppose that's just as well, since really the schedule needs some CSS, to make it display nicely with my site.

I've looked around and I haven't been able to find any basic instructions on how to set up and use the schedule grid in a site. Can anyone give me guidance, or show me where I can find the way to make this work?
