I was trying to install the streamripper, but most of the stuff is command lines etc
honestly speaking I am not a *nix person and command lines make things difficult for me.
Is there a chance you could write a documentation without command lines but simple GUI steps
Thank you

drewish commentedI'm not sure exactly what you're referring to. Perhaps you're referring to my FreeBSD radio station website setup guide? If so, I'm afraid I won't. I wrote that document as a reference guide to the setup of the machines at our station. We don't run the archives on Windows any more, that and doing the screen shots necessary for Windows docs is a huge pain in the ass. That said all the software should work on Windows as that's what I developed the majority of it using. If you're looking for some Windows specific help, I've written up some Drupal on Windows guides but they're not station specific.

droople commentedI meant the FreeBSD docs.
Also while at that, which version of streamripper do I need to download.
I develop on apache2triad on win xp but upload to a *nix server for the live site
thanks

drewish commentedthe latest version should be fine.
droople commenteddidn't make myself clear
there are 3 different versions
Streamripper (winamp 5)
Streamripper (unix source)
Streamripper (win32 console)
drewish commentedfor your windows site, you'd want windows console. for your unix server you'll have to either find a binary of compile it yourself. depending on your ISP that may be tricky.
