In OpenAtrium, I have no problem creating features for group-space. However, I have not been able to create a working user-space feature.
(See here, for example, for a description of a failed attempt: http://drupal.org/node/761340.)
Is this by design? Or should features work in user-space? Is there an example somewhere of a user-space feature that works with OpenAtrium?
Thanks.

kobnim commentedSorry, I left off the key requirement.
Is it possible to create a feature in user-space, which enables the user to create content?
For example using OpenAtrium, I can create a dashboard-type feature, but I have not succeeded in creating a feature that enables the user to create blogposts in user-space.

jmiccolis commentedIt's possible to do this, but it's not what the user spaces is designed for. To get this working you'll may have to provide additional paths for authoring content and other trickery to get things working naturally. The user space in it's current form is more suited to showing user-centric aggregated information from all over a site, that is is as a single user group.
This isn't a bug, so much as a design limitation.

kobnim commented@jmiccolis - Thank you. That explains why I have been having so much trouble.
If anyone out there has a user-space feature that enables a user to create content, could you please post it here? It would be very helpful for me (and perhaps others) to see how you did it.
