As is, the Services API can be used to query basic information about spaces, for standard object types. However, extended information about spaces --- such as which features are enabled for that space --- aren't currently available, and there doesn't seem to be a way to get this information via existing Services API calls.

Attached is a patch that adds two simple Services to Spaces, providing the above functionality.

I don't generally use the Services module so I'm very hesitant to add functionality that I'm not likely to use or test. Can you tell me more about what you're doing with this functionality?
