When I enable the spaces site module, I get the following error:

Fatal error: Interface 'space' not found in C:\Apache2\htdocs\sandbox_1\sites\all\modules\spaces\spaces_site\spaces_site.module on line 9

The particular code generating the error is:

class space_site implements space {

I'm using spaces 6.x-3.0-alpha2 with ctools 6.x-1.x-dev, Features 6.x-1.0-beta5 and Context 6.x-3.0-alpha2 (if this is relevant?).

If this can be replicated, I'm happy to patch if I can be pointed in the right direction as to how I should fix this...

Spaces site was removed in the 3.x branch (http://drupalcode.org/viewvc/drupal/contributions/modules/spaces/spaces_...) -- please make sure you actually replace the spaces module codebase entirely, not just unpack the new tarball on top of an existing version.

So how do we make items available on a site wide basis as well as a particular space.

before, i could have a view be part of spaces_og and spaces_site. In og, I could see just the items that were specific to that space. And when the view was in the site space I saw all items.

Use the spaces content filter on your view. It will automatically fall back to showing all items outside of a space.

The spaces filter defaults to true now if it is in a space

Configure filter Spaces: Content in current space
Items will be filtered to show only those that belong to the active space.

but if I now only have the option to define the view in the current space as true
and there is no space_site, how will setting this filter help me?

I also had features defined for the site space. How can i do that now? There are certain views, panel pages etc that I want available on a site wide basis.

in the .info files for my features i specified
spaces[type][] = 'site'

How do I specify this now?

I was an avid spaces and decided to upgrade to the new open atrium.

I am getting permission denied on all pages so I am stepping through the process for the upteenth time.

I did miss this part of the read me.
