The option on SMTP settings page to turn the module on/off has no effect.

The default mail system remains "SmtpMailSystem" even when the module is turned off by "smtp_on" flag.

I am using SMTP 7.x-1.0 and i applied above #1 patch also, but still On and Off not working. Even it is OFF still mail is going.
