Smart Menu works nicely with Admin menu, SimpleMenu and Nice Menus!
Example First navigate to Administer >> Site building >> Menus >> Primary links. Then click away to, say, My account. As per normal Drupal behaviour this causes the Administer menu to collapse. Now click the Administer menu item a second time, and voila! Smart menus will automagically take you all the way down the menu tree to again present you with the Primary links page.
ok! with Nice Menus & Smart menus enabled,
and in the Site building >> Blocks i use Nice menu 1 (Nice menu) & Smart navigation block(set as invisible)
but as says in project page
(1)you will find that you no longer have to painstakingly hover your cursor down the second, third, fourth... slide-out menu.
(2)Instead you just click the top menu item and Smart menus takes you all the way to that previously visited page somewhere deep down in some submenu
i didn't see the SMART MENU effect(2).
so what was going wrong???

rdeboerNot sure what's going wrong imDhaval...
I just installed Nice menus (6.x.2.1) and Smart menus (latest version) and have no problems.
Naturally, I do not also have all the other menu modules you mention enabled at the same time.
For some reason Nice Menus did not offer me a "Nice menu 1", only "Tabs (Nice menu)" and "Nice menu 2 (Nice menu)", so I used the second to configure a block in a region at the top of my page, configured it with "Navigation" and "down".
Also did what you did with the Smart Navigation block and configured it to be invisible (note that you must assign a region for both Nice Menu block as well as the Smart Navigation block even though the latter is invisible).
I then used the newly created Nice menu to navigate down the Administer tree and picked a menu item.
Then clicked My Account and after that clicked (rather than hovered) "Administer" again. The previously visited sub-sub-item in the Administer menu tree opened again, without me clicking it.
So the Smart menus functionality worked for me.
I then put the Smart menus block back in the "none" region, which, as expected, disabled the memory function, so that clicking on "Administer" just shows the Administer top menu item page, not the previously visited menu sub sub item.
Before you installed Smart Menus, did you get Nice Menus to work properly? Sometimes the theme can get in the way in that it won't let Nice Menus expand its menu items beyond a narrow border...
Once you are satisfied that Nice Menus by itself works, switch on Smart menus.

imDhaval commentedok! in my 'Nice menu 2 (Nice menu)' block, i set Menu Parent as 'Navigation' & Menu Style 'right' and put it into 'Left sidebar'.
so when i hovered my mouse to administer, the nice menu auto-expands n shows me the child items.
so nice menu is working well.
now i enabled smart menu, n put Smart Navigation block into 'Left sidebar' and configured it to be invisible.
n i hovered my mouse to administer, the nice menu auto-expands n shows me the child items again, i goto sitebuilding, the nice menu auto-expands & then i click to 'pages'.
Then clicked My Account after that i goto administer again, & nice menu auto-expands n shows me the child items. not the previously visited sub-sub-item.

rdeboerSounds like you have everything set up correctly...
Make sure you click, not just hover over, the parent menu item, i.e. "Administer". That should take you to the last visited sub sub... item of the menu tree in question.

rdeboerD6 is approaching end of life. I'm winding down support for this module.
