I'm not sure this is the same problem as http://drupal.org/node/1111104 but they are very similar. I'm not getting the 404 but when I click on the edit link of a form element, I just get sent back to the page I started from. Rik, you have the login to the dev site still? Do you want to play with it there?

Also different from the other bug (from what I can tell) is that it doesn't require Smart Menus to be on to see the problem.

Ok, so I had a look. Enabled Smart Tabs and also Module Grants Monitor because I feel its "Accessible content" menu option adds something to the mix.

All good! No problem with Webform or any other page.
All I did was change the "Pages to inlcude" box on the Smart Tabs configuration page like so:

Pages to include:
accessible-content*

So I went extreme and configured the smart tabs to work on the Module Grants Monitor accessible content page only. If you want it to work on all pages, you may have to fine-tune the exclusion list (on the same configuration page) as Webform has undergone changes that Smart Tabs hasn't caught up with.
If you decide to go down this path, let us know what exclusions work for you and I'll put them in for the next release of Smart Tabs.
