This issue should be resolved in Metatag module versions 7.x-1.0-beta1 or higher.

Can you please confirm what triggers the problem? Does the error show when the Smart Art Banners module is enabled? Did you configure a value for the module? Did you disable the Smart App Banners module after configuring it? Does it still happen with either Metatag v1.5 or the current -dev release?
