Hi there,

I'm really quite new at this 'Drupal' development so if I'm out of line, I apologise in advance. I've enabled the slideshowcs module and am now trying to configure through the 'blocks' admin section... however I get this warning at the top:

"warning: Parameter 1 to theme_slideshowcs_my_form() expected to be a reference, value given in .../Drupal/includes/theme.inc on line 617"

Is this a problem specific to this module or do I have a larger problem at hand with my Drupal installation, until now everything has been running quite smoothly?

Thank you

Can you post the steps you do to reproduce the problem? I have not seen that warning before. And also, please post your active modules.

Hey, thanks for helping. My setup here is not far advanced from the default setup, the only installed modules I have active are 'Poormanscron' which seems to be going fine and now 'Slideshow CS'. My active modules from 'Core-Optional' are 'Color', 'Comment', 'Database logging, 'Help', 'Menu', 'Taxonomy', and 'Update status'.

To reproduce the error I can either go to 'Administer', then 'Site Configuration', then 'Slideshow CS settings'... the warning will then appear every time. I can also go through 'Site building', then to 'Blocks' and configure 'Slideshow CS block 1' to see the same error message.

I hope this helps, it has me rendered clueless :)

Thanks again.

Danny

I face the same issue recently while using slideshow cs. This issue has nothing to do with the module but infact arises if the server is running PHP version 5.3 which unfortunately drupal does not support. After requesting my hosting providers to degrade the PHP version to PHP 5.2.x the issue got resolved on its own. Hope this helps :)

if you are using php 5.3
goto slideshowcd.module anf change function theme_slideshowcs_my_form(&$form) {
to function theme_slideshowcs_my_form($form) {
