I have checked "Random slideshow", but it doesn't work.
Any suggestions?

Actually, I am having the exact same problem. The slideshow works fine, except it is always in the same order. There is no randomization happening. I have the most recent version.

I have installed the slideshow on 2 drupal sites and evrything works but the "random" feature, even though I am using the most recent version and "random" is checked. Any thoughts? Thanks.

"Random Slideshow" isn't working for me either, but I'm reluctant to upgrade to the 2.x DEV version on my production site. Is it relatively stable?

Otherwise, thanks for great module. Very simple and easy to set up.

Ommm, I just realized I did not tag the latest version wich is what I am using in my demo site. It is completely stable, just solved the problem with the random images, the rest of the code is just the same.

I have some problems with the cvs right now and my computer, but as soon as I can restore my working copy with my user, I'll release a new version. Meanwhile you can use the dev version, I am using myself.
