My users, who are not power users, would be happier with a visible Save/Submit button, as opposed to the "change data and click elsewhere to update" interface currently used. Thanks again for this amazing module.

Hi -

Interesting - the users I built this for aren't power users either (and the D7 site hasn't launched yet so I've only got feedback from a few testers). I did it that way as it was more excel-like and faster, but adding a save button could work well. Not sure where to display it though...any ideas?

Cheers,

Ben

My first thought was at the bottom of the grid because so much of drupal is scroll down, save.

It may also be that because the indication of a save to the node is the spreadsheet data changing, that is too subtle a cue; perhaps the Save button is not the right paradigm and I am wrong.

Perhaps a message ("your spreadsheet has been updated") and/or a JavaScript effect?
