I have a custom header I am wanting to use. I tried to use the theme configuration settings inside drupal for the theme but it never shows up. Instead, I had to make my header my custom logo, choose use logo, and then it appears. Problem is I can't get it centered.
I would rather set it as the header image since I can center that, but as soon as I tell drupal NOT to use a logo, the header area disappears so the header image is gone. If I tell drupal to use the logo then it appears over the custom header image and I can see the edge of the header sticking out to the right of the logo. I know I can trick the system by creating a completely transparent image for my logo, but there seems there should be a better way to do this.
Would love any help I can get on resolving this.
Thanks

jacineWhat did you enter in the theme settings for the custom image? This would center your background image, with a non-repeating white background:
#fff url('/full/path/to/background/image.jpg') no-repeat center center; The theme settings use the "Background - Shorthand property." See this page for details: http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_background.asp
You may also need to tweak the height of the header. This is also a theme setting under "Layout Options."
