I uploaded and extracted the site_audit 7.x-1.x-dev version to my centos6 server location usr/local/share/drush/commands
which resulted in a folder site_audit and contents.
I did drush cc drush, and even drush cache-clear drush to clear the drush cache
dursh ac still gives "The drush command 'ac' could not be found"

Did I overlook something?

Hi Yuri,

Interesting, that's a new one to me. Is drush installed to /usr/local/share/drush/ ? As a troubleshooting step, try putting the commands in ~/.drush/commands - does that work? Also, what version of Drush are you using? If it's not particularly recent, please see http://www.drush.org/en/master/install/ for installation instructions, that could be part of it.
